LIONEL CRASTA – joined The Media Tribe in 2013 and worked on projects like Coke Studio, MTV Unplugged, India’s RawStar, Jaipur Literature festival, The Stage and ever since his course at The Media Tribe, he worked with sound engineering and music Production team in Flying Carpet Productions, and currently is working with Grammy Nominated Songwriter Producer Jason Evigan in Los Angeles
KARAN CHITRA DESHMUKH – Chitra Deshmukh from being an aspiring percussionist to performing with artists like Karsh Kale and Papon, Karan has mapped a very successful journey. Karan started as a student at The Media Tribe, where he got an opportunity to work as a Junior engineer at Coke Studio @ MTV, from where he gained lots of inspiration. He credits Mr. Ashish Manchanda for his development of the right attitude and world class guidance.
EDISON SOANS – completed his course at The Media Tribe and has been working as a freelance sound engineer and music producer. He has been the chief recording engineer for MTV Unplugged Season 4 and Season 5. He is also actively working as a composer and producer in the Advertising Industry.
SOMESH GANESH – It gives us immense happiness to share with you the remarkable achievement that our intern, Somesh Ganesh has bagged. He has been associated with The Media Tribe and has shown outstanding talent learning with us . Having studied music technology at Georgia tech., Somesh has created a place for himself in Apple Inc. as an audio software engineer. While we are super proud of him and wish him all the best in his future endeavours, we also acknowledge his passion towards music and thank him for his contribution to The Media Tribe.
UDYAN DHRAMADHIKARI – The Media Tribe’s unique hands on approach to teaching helped me develop my skills and gave me confidence to take on projects that demand every bit of creativity and skill at all times. After a year long course I worked as an Assistant Recording Engineer for ‘MTV Unplugged’ Season 06 and later as one of the music producers for the TV shows ‘The Stage’ Se3 and ‘Dil Hai Hindustani’ Se2. My current projects include producing music for an entertainment brand ‘Planet Marathi’ and IAPAR and for Indie artists like Siddhant Sharma (winner The Stage), MC Altaf, Jay Killa and Flying Machine to name a few.
AKARSH SINGH – Having being a student at The Media Tribe, I will always be grateful to the mentors. The knowledge that they imparted, and the skills they honed in me, have definitely garnished the opportunities for me. I now work as the Head of Department (Drums and Associate HR) at one of the leading music schools in Pune, Muziclub. I am associated with Inspired to develop Robot orchestra, which is a project by the Gujarat Government for an upcoming public museum. I also play drums with 3 active bands and have played at big festivals like Bangalore Open Air with SteelRush and Virsa festival opening for the YouTube sensation Sanam with Monks Inc. These are the areas I’ve contributed to in the past year – which has been a result of the guidance by The Media Tribe for excelling my field. I am glad and fortunate to be a part of the institute.
SUMANTHA SHETTY – another TMT alumnus who has been contributing in the music industry. He has worked as a producer and engineer on the star plus show Dil hai hindustani season 1 – 2 , Star Bharath show Om Shanti Om, Stage Season – 3 and Flipkart Big Sale Day Advertisement and The Rahman Special show at Radio mirchi awards. He has worked on the movie TOILET – Ek Prem Katha as a recording engineer. He has also worked as background score producer for the Alt Balaji Show The Test Case. Adding to his credit list, he has worked as a mix engineer for KBC Season 9 finale act and additional production for the KBC Season 10 finale act.
